Will she star as anyone else but herself, though?

Summary:

  • Back in September 2023, Kim Kardashian made her first appearance in Ryan Murphy’s American Horror Story.
  • Her performance received mixed reviews, with viewers complaining about her character Siobhan being too similar to herself.
  • However, Murphy was pleased by the actress’ work enough to lead her over to another project for Hulu.

If you haven't gotten over the news that Kim Kardashian is entering the world of scripted television, you may not be ready for the following news. After her controversial casting in season 12 of American Horror Story, Delicate and somewhat successful debut, she seems to be more booked and busy than one would expect.

First came the news that she was attached to star in The Fifth Wheel. The movie sparked a bidding war between several major players before landing on Netflix, even though no other cast members besides Kardashian were announced. After that, it seemed clear that anything the actress would get involved in would become a commercial success.

If she's good at it, people will come and praise her. If she was bad, there would be enough haters to make the project profitable anyway. Because the name is so controversial, talent doesn't have to be the key component. Even if Kardashian has it.

Ryan Murphy, the creator of American Horror Story, seems to have figured it out pretty quickly. So quickly, in fact, that the actress has already added another of his TV dramas to her busy schedule.

First reported by Deadline, news of Kardashian's new role quickly spread across the web. As of today, however, not much is known about the TV series in question.

The new legal drama will be Murphy's first show under his new deal with Hulu. Kardashian, however, is no stranger to the platform, as her reality series The Kardashians also airs there. The actress will portray a divorce attorney in Los Angeles, and she's set to star in the series.

Although some people are still questioning the actress' abilities, it seems that Ryan Murphy is going to include her in more of his projects. The producer is known for his trusted circle of actors, including many other American Horror Story alums like Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters. Kim Kardashian is another name to add to the list.

If you can't wait for the new series to premiere, you can check out Kim Kardashian in action on American Horror Story: Fried. The first part of season 12 is available to stream on Hulu, while the second part is scheduled to be released in 2024.
