New Pirates of the Caribbean Report Hints Johnny Depp May Break His Promise Not to Return
Although the production of the sixth part of Pirates of the Caribbean wasn’t confirmed yet, rumors go as far as claiming we will see beloved Captain Jack Sparrow again.

Since then, the media surrounding the franchise has been a blank slate, except for some rumors about a reboot. There are reasons for that we all know about.
Johnny Depp was going through a high-profile lawsuit with former partner Amber Heard. As a result, he lost contracts with both the Fantastic Beasts and Pirates of the Caribbean film franchises.

That was also the times when he said that he would never go back to the role of Jack Sparrow.
During the trial, Depp clarified that even "if Disney came to [him] with $300 million and a million alpacas, nothing on this earth" would convince him to return and work with the corporation on another Pirates project.
So you can imagine the delightful surprise of the fans, when Daniel Richtman, the Hollywood insider, a couple of days ago in a post on his Patreon said that Disney is allegedly thinking about bringing Depp back into the franchise. Even though he will only play a supporting role in the reboot.
However, considering Depp’s strong opinion about Pirates of the Caribbean during trial and no overall interest in participating in any Hollywood film, it may be likely that he will turn down the offer.
Besides, there has been no official confirmation of such talks even taking place, and Depp also never commented on the rumors. We guess, time will tell.
