Ready to get some more Shelby drama?

It’s been ten years since we first met the dangerously magnetic Thomas Shelby, the main character of Peaky Blinders that was destined to become one of the best in the genre.

Cillian Murphy had done a brilliant job on the show, portraying the head of the Shelby family, the one and only Tommy, the war veteran with a soul so complicated it's impossible to read.

Together with him there were other amazing cast members, like Paul Anderson, Helen McCrory, Annabelle Wallis, Tom Hardy and many more talented actors.

As many fans still find it hard to believe, the very first episode aired on September 12, 2013, and since then we got six incredible seasons full of crime, drama, and even romance. With season 6 being the last, fans were still obsessed with the show's finale and wanted to get some more of it in any way possible.

That's why the fans were promised that there will be a full-length movie covering the events of World War I and World War II. But then the show's creator Steven Knight revealed that the upcoming Peaky Blinders movie will expand on his original plans and take place during World War II itself.

But on Peaky Anniversary Day, Knight took to the show’s official X account to celebrate the series as a huge success, and teased fans with some hints about the show's future. And that's beyond plans to make a full-length movie.

"The story is not over yet," he mentioned in the post.

Needless to say, the reaction of the fans was immediate.

“Finally watched the series last month and then rewatched the entire series again last week. One of the best ones ever. Can’t get enough of Thomas Shelby and those Peaky Blinders. Hope movie comes out soon. Better still, have Season 7!” X user agnes walker said.

Although it is not clear what form these potential Peaky Blinders spinoffs might take, many viewers are speculating that they could follow Sophie Rundle's Ada Shelby or even Tommy's estranged son Duke.

Either way, it seems that fans are ready for anything that involves the famous Shelbys reuniting on screen. Until then, you can always binge-watch the show on Netflix.
