2000s megastar intends to further develop his acting career, perhaps hoping to get another Emmy nomination.

It looks like the 'Livin' La Vida Loca' singer is ready to cement his status as an up-and-coming Hollywood actor with a starring role in the prestigious Apple TV+ comedy series. Martin's fans first saw his acting abilities back in 2018 with the release of Ryan Murphy's 'American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace', in which he played the role of Antonio D'Amico, receiving an Emmy nomination for his vibrant performance.

And Martin, of course, finds himself in a pretty competent cast: Kristen Wiig, Allison Janney, and Laura Dern co-star in the series. Dern is also producing the show, which is based on the best-selling novel by Juliet McDaniel. Wiig will play the role of a woman desperately trying to secure a place in Palm Beach's male-only high society in 'Mrs. American Pie'. As Martin will headline the 10-episode series in his first-ever comedy performance, fans will surely be eagerly awaiting the project's release.

The series will be written and produced by Abe Sylvia, who's is behind Jessica Chastain's upcoming 'George & Tammy' series.
