Darren Aronofsky’s hit Oscar-winning drama saw Sadie Sink taking on the role of Ellie, the estranged daughter of Brendan Fraser ’s Charlie.

One of the frontrunners at the 2023 awards season, The Whale centres on a reclusive and morbidly obese English teacher whose declining health condition prompts him to seek redemption when he makes an attempt to reconnect with his only child who he abandoned years earlier.

The movie revived Brendan Fraser’s acting career that remained in stagnation since the 2010s, also receiving numerous accolades and becoming a box office hit with more than $50 million earned against the budget of $3 million.

Dear Zoe primarily centres on Tess DeNunzio deciding to write a heartfelt letter to her 3-year-old sister Zoe who died in a hit-and-run accident on the day of the September 11 attacks.

Unable to start a completely new life since, Tess takes Zoe through everything she has experienced ever since, explaining what helped her family to recover from the loss and how she found new sources of love and support that make her better with every new day.

One of the most surprising findings in Sink’s current filmography, American Odyssey is an action thriller TV series following the US Army members during a secret mission in Mali which helps them uncover a major conspiracy involving Islamist terror groups.

Initially conceived as a modern-day version of Homer’s legendary poem Odyssey, the series starred Sink in one of the leading roles as Suzanne Ballard; however, it was cancelled after the first season right in the midst of its TV run.
