Although it's not clear when Tom Holland's Spider-Man will return, some Marvel fans have a dream about the comeback.

After a massive multiversal adventure in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Tom Holland 's Peter Parker had to go through what may appear as a big downgrade. From an Avenger-level hero, he is back to an anonymous friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, a street hero in a mask fighting crime. And fans believe this might actually be good for the character — especially if his story gets connected to another beloved street-level hero, Daredevil.

We got to see Matt Murdock's Daredevil in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law before he steals the spotlight in his solo show titled Born Again. But some fans have already come up with a possible sequel for the Daredevil show, and they believe that the fourth installment of the Spider-Man franchise is just what the doctor ordered.

"If Spider-Man 4 is actually a direct sequel to Daredevil: Born again, it would literally be a dream come true. Imagine a street level Spider-Man and Daredevil team up movie against street level villains like Kingpin and Tombstone." – @driiftyfilm

Now that the world no longer remembers that Peter Parker is Spider-Man, there is indeed a chance that he returns to street-level superheroing, and he might need some help from a very good lawyer — after all, he already received it once. Even though Matt Murdock does not remember it.

The fandom is now buzzing with excitement over the idea of Matt Murdock and Peter Parker being the new faces of street-level heroes in the MCU. According to fans, this duo is going to be "amazing".

However, many people have argued that the Spider-Man franchise should not be overly dependent on other characters' arcs.

Another fan argued that "every MCU movie is [basically] a crossover", and "this is wasted time for character development".

"I understand that the MCU in an extended universe and all that stuff... but so are Marvel comic books, and they still manage to have stand-alone adventures," Twitter user QuelBrot argued.

While many people would love to see a Spider-Man and Daredevil team-up, they feel that they should get "at least one solo Spidey movie first". It's true that Holland's Peter Parker has always been joined by someone in his solo movies — from Tony Stark to two other web-slingers from the multiverse.

Perhaps now that he has regained his anonymity, it's time for him to embark on a solo mission — and then he will be ready for new team-ups once again.
