It looks like The Witcher fans are still feeling really bummed after it was announced that Henry Cavill is leaving the show and a new season 3 trailer doesn't save the day.

The Witcher series by Netflix is an epic fantasy drama that is based on a book series by Andrzej Sapkowski.

The series follows the story of Geralt of Rivia, a monster hunter who travels through a medieval-inspired world filled with magic, supernatural creatures, and political intrigues.

As you might know, Henry Cavill dropped a bombshell on October 29 when he announced he was leaving the Netflix series.

Producers had originally planned to keep him around for a whole seven seasons, but Cavill is out after just three. Liam Hemsworth is set to step into his shoes for the fourth season.

And now, after the teaser trailer was released, fans again got into a discussion on Reddit. We have to admit the teaser is not giving us much to go on.

We only get quick glimpses of the characters, and the whole thing is kind of vague. That said, we do get to see Yen, Ciri, and Geralt on the search for one another in the dark.

And Geralt drops a line about facing a monster that really puts fear in him for the first time.

Even though it's not much, fans think the trailer shows the same problems that the whole series in general, and the only good thing about it is Henry Cavill's performance.

Despite everyone's approval of Henry Cavill's respect for the original source, fans think that the creators don't have even a half of the same attitude.

Viewers point out that while adapting someone else's work, it's important to show respect and bring out the vision of the original writer rather than trying to inject one's own ideas.

They believe that the people behind The Witcher show are too self-absorbed and don't value the source material.

Whatever happens to The Witcher, fans expect to see Henry Cavill in the Warhammer 40K adaptation.

Henry is a fan of the game himself and will also be a producer of the show, so we expect the show to garner a wider audience and fans' approval.
