Although Paramount+ still hasn't officially announced that long-awaited release date, the answer to when exactly we're getting Teen Wolf: The Movie might have been there all along.

According to a rather popular fan theory, Jeff Davis and Paramount+ possibly employed Teen Wolf Season 6 release strategy – and, if we take a look back, it actually does sound plausible that Teen Wolf movie (sans Dylan O'Brien) is going to be released in November, much sooner than currently expected.

If you followed Teen Wolf fandom back in 2016 when Season 6 Part 1 was released, you remember that the very first trailer for that season debuted at Comic-Con 2016 in July. The same happened this year, when official teaser-trailer for Teen Wolf: The Movie was released during SDCC 2022.

After that, during New York Comic Con 2016, on October 8th, they released the official trailer for Teen Wolf Season 6 Part 1, with the season itself premiering a month after – on November 15th, 2016, to be exact, a month and one week after the second trailer came out. Now, this year it's exactly the same so far: there's going to be Teen Wolf: The Movie panel during NYCC on October 7th, and, hopefully, that's when we're getting the second trailer and the official release date announcement from Jeff Davis himself.

The Bittersweet Way Dylan O'Brien Is Involved in Teen Wolf Movie

If Teen Wolf: The Movie does indeed come out this November, those fans who said the producers were doing the season 6 marketing strategy would end up being right. Hopefully, we'll get an update from Davis himself after Teen Wolf and Wolf Pack NYCC panel, scheduled for Fri, Oct 7, 2022 at 6:00 PM. Teen Wolf cast members appearance is also scheduled, but, as it happens, there's no details whatsoever on who exactly will join Davis on NYCC main stage for the Teen Wolf panel.

Following Scott McCall's (Tyler Posey) pack trail to Beacon Hills once again, Teen Wolf: The Movie promises our favorite gang going against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they've ever faced. Pretty much everyone is reprising their roles in the upcoming movie, with the notable exception of Dylan O'Brien (Stiles Stilinski on the show) and Arden Cho ( Kira Nakamura). The biggest intrigue so far is Crystal Reed's comeback: the actress left Teen Wolf after her character, Allison Argent's, death in season 3b finale. Fans are already bracing themselves for the possibility of Allison returning possessed by Nogitsune. However, nothing is confirmed at this point, story-wise or otherwise.
