Who was evicted from Big Brother? She called Julie Chen 'her sister from another mister' on the way out
Pour one out, because LaTrice "Lala" Verrett — 58-year-old boutique saleswoman, Grammy winner, former professional bodybuilder, mother of four, and the only person in that house with an actual résumé — is gone. Evicted 4-2 over her ally Taylor Brown, first seat in the jury house.
And she left exactly the way she lived in there: loudly, confusedly, and iconically.
The exit speech we didn't deserve
Day 59, mic on, zero notes. Lala's farewell address informed the room that "these suckers just don't know what to do," and then pivoted straight into her greatest hit — the endurance Wall comp she won at 58, outlasting an actual MMA fighter: "I hung onto that wall for almost an hour and 45 minutes, baby!" She's right, and she should say it. That win set an age record for the comp and will be in season retrospectives long after half this cast is forgotten.
The sisterhood with the host, meanwhile, is now canon. Asked about the eviction, Julie Chen Moonves went full family-reunion:
"I love Lala. She is indeed my sister from another mister!!!"
Three exclamation points. From Julie Chen Moonves. Some people win the $750,000; some people win something better.

How it actually went down
The mechanics, for the feed-agnostic:
- HOH Drew nominated Lala, Taylor, and Yash. Yash vetoed himself off.
- Rick Devens — in a galaxy-brain move — volunteered as the replacement, nearly got himself evicted for his trouble, then saved himself with a Block Buster win, leaving Lala and Taylor exposed.
- Melody threw in a rogue vote against Lala, which the house immediately started litigating.
- 4-2, Lala to the jury. She turned her own trademark confusion into a hashtag on the way there, which is more brand strategy than most influencers manage in a career.
No bitterness on the exit, either — mostly. From jury, she named names about who played her and who kept her sane, and made it clear she came, she saw, she clung to a wall longer than a cage fighter. The house is measurably less fun now. The jury house, on the other hand, just got a Grammy winner. Act accordingly.
