Similar sentiments are expressed in the Yellowstone fandom, with people complaining that the Paramount series is "boring and uneventful" and that the story has no more room to develop without killing off the characters.

But Yellowstone is an original show, not a spinoff, while Young Sheldon is limited by its Big Bang Theory's prequel status.
