The final episode of Justified: City Primeval's first season is here, and let's just say many fans are taking back all the criticism they used to spill out before.

Well well well, if it isn't the City Primeval finale essentially making things up for everything it almost ruined itself!

The eighth episode of the first season, titled The Question, somehow managed to finally bring back that good old Justified vibe everyone has been watching City Primeval for.

The bombshell finale delivered plenty of moments for fans to get crazy about, but if you need a quick recap of the best ones, here goes.

Clement's Panic Room

Boyd Holbrook 's Clement Mansell could have died in Skender's panic room, starving to death, if it wasn't for Raylan and his moral code. Well, the moral code in question basically set Clement free. But come on, Clement Mansell could not be left to rot in the panic room to, you know, panic himself to death! That would be very non-Justified, and we've already had enough of that.

A Win is a Win

We can't believe we still need to give out kudos to shows for letting women be evil, too, but yes, we need to do that. That Maureen tantrum during the Internal Affairs meeting? Priceless. Getting a fulfilling conclusion to that would be even more priceless, but small steps are important too, we guess.

The Ex is Back

This episode was stuffed with precious cameos, and while the biggest one is something we'll discuss later, the arrival of Natalie Zea's Winona (Raylan's ex-wife) and Vivian Olyphant's Willa (his daughter) was a very sweet moment. Raylan's retirement was too little too late for Winona, but for Willa, it could mean the world — and Winona makes it clear to Raylan that she is "glad" he could do it for her.

That Clement-Raylan Face-Off

Clement Mansell was basically a Joker to Raylan's Batman, and The Question has blessed us with the culmination of the seemingly never-ending battle. When Mansell gets his long-awaited revenge on the Albanians, he breaks into Carolyn's house: after all, she made a deal with Toma and basically wanted Clement to starve and die in the panic room.

However, it's Raylan who's waiting for Mansell in Carolyn's house. When Clement reaches out behind his back, Raylan fatally shoots him; but it turns out Mansell wasn't reaching out for a gun, but rather for a Seven Nation Army cassette. Well, wasn't his music too awful, anyway?

Boyd Crowder Cameo

Stop it, you, you already knew we were going to put this one on top! How could we not? Boyd Crowder's return was everything OG fans were asking for — despite many people trying to convince themselves that City Primeval could do without him, his comeback clearly saved the finale.

His return is a perfect set-up for a sequel, because of course, and Crowder executes it in the most chaotic yet gracious way. Escaping from captivity while stopping for a quickie with Officer Gerret, then driving off, probably to Mexico? Top-tier.

Excuse us while we sit here and wait for season 2 announcement.
