9 Infinitely Rewatchable UNHhhh Episodes That Never Get Boring

Since RuPaul's Drag Race first came out, it gave a lot of queens an opportunity to really shine. A lot of queens have gone on to have their own music careers, debut on Broadway, star in Hollywood movies and so much more.

But while RuPaul's Drag Race has launched many queens into their stardom, nothing quite compares to the phenomenon that is UNHhhh. Born from the chaotic chemistry between Season 7 contestants Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamolodchikova, this web series has evolved into its own beast.

Episode 135: Season 7 React

In this nostalgic deep-dive Trixie and Katya revisit their reality TV roots, hilariously unpacking their Season 7 run.

What makes this episode so special is seeing how far they've come. From competing against each other to becoming partners and first and foremost, friends. It's also a perfect entry point for newcomers, providing essential backstory while delivering their signature humor.

Memorable moment: “If you’re not embarrassed about last year, you’re not making any progress,” Katya.

Episode 31: SPACE

An episode dedicated to space in the Contact-era of the show? Yes, please.

This Season 1 classic features Katya in what might be her most surprising outfit ever, repeatedly referencing the movie Contact, while Trixie remains peacefully clueless about the film. You can expect a lot of Contact references and Trixie rolling her eyes at them.

Memorable moment: “This is the moment where I personally in this show hopefully has finally lost Contact with reality,” Katya.

Episode 46: Jobs Before Drag Race

I just love a good throwback and learning more about Trixie and Katya's lore, so this episode is easily one of the best ones for me. The episode peeks behind the curtain at both queens' pre-fame lives and I got to tell you, it's a wild ride.

Memorable moment: “Whatever happens in my real life, I take that s– straight to work,” Trixie.

Episode 141: Make Loneliness Work for You

In the true UNHhhh fashion, queens tackle a serious topic with their signature humor and unexpected wisdom. This episode is different because it speaks to everyone who's ever felt lonely (and who hasn't, to be honest), while making us laugh in the process.

Memorable moment:

Trixie: Would you die if I just took out an eye and you never knew?

Katya: I would ask to marry you.

Episode 37: New Year New You

This episode is particularly interesting now knowing how their predictions about the show's future actually came true. Watching them dream big while sitting in front of a green screen feels like witnessing the beginning of something special.

Memorable moment:

Katya: I’m more comfortable now, is that okay?

Trixie: I’m less comfortable now.

Episode 142: The Weather

When asked about a favorite episode in an interview to W Magazine, both answered the same way, with Katya saying:

“Mine is The Weather. I don't know why, but it's my go-to depression cure. It is an immediate serotonin boost for me. I've watched it probably 20 times.”

Trixie agreed:

“The Weather is sickening. That episode's so good because it was the very end of the day. I think we had to do four episodes that day. We were really mentally burned out. Once you're pouring from an empty cup long enough, your brain actually fractures and you become incredibly insane and funny.”

If the queens themselves like the episode, you know it has to be good.

Memorable moment: “You know, right now the audience is deciding WHETHER or not they want to continue watching us,” Trixie.

Episode 32: Thanxgiving

Nothing says holiday special like Trixie and Katya take on gratitude, peppered with their ongoing Contact movie saga. This episode manages to be both heartwarming and typically unhinged. And it's always fun to watch Trixie's patience wear thin with Katya's Contact references.

Memorable moments: “I'm thankful for two things: violence and hair care,” Katya.

“Oh, honey, Thanksgiving? Oh, honey, Thanksliving!,” Trixie.

Episode 93: Fame

This one is personally one of my favorites. Self-awareness and absurdity at its finest.

Their take on fame is a refreshingly honest perspective from two people who have experienced it firsthand. And I know they laugh about it, but this is actually true.

Memorable moment: “I asked my boyfriend, I said: would you rather be famous or rich. He said thin,” Trixie.

Episode 119: Gurl, You Gay

The episode sees both queens at their most unapologetically queer, delivering commentary on gay culture that's both ridiculous and relatable. And I don't think we talk enough about how good Katya looked in this episode. That look deserves its own fan club and I’m already in it.

Memorable moments: “Is this the gay episode? I've been training my whole life for this,” Trixie.

“I am so distracted by how good I look right now,” Katya.
