Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves surprises moviegoers with the guest appearance of a Hollywood star that probably few fans of the fantasy series expected.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves has just hit cinemas to provide pure fantasy fun.

The movie adaptation of the role-playing game of the same name, which is usually played with dice and pencil, comes with lovable characters, exciting action scenes and a lot of humor.

Critics and fans are apparently delighted with this new movie adaptation of the classic game.

To top the fun experience the movie gives the fans, Dungeons & Dragons has a cameo that comes completely out of nowhere.

Before you continue reading, however, here is a spoiler warning. After this paragraph, we'll reveal the name of the actor stopping by for an amusing scene.

You've been warned!

One of the main characters in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves is Holga (played by Michelle Rodriguez), who joins Edgin (Chris Pine ) in his adventure.

On their journey, they make a detour to meet Holga's ex – and he is played by none other than Hollywood star Bradley Cooper!

The scene is particularly funny because we get to know Holga as a muscular warrior who fearlessly throws herself into every fight.

Cooper's figure, on the other hand, is small and delicate, as if a hobbit had strayed into the Dungeons & Dragons universe.

According to the movie's plot he's a halfling, roughly three feet tall. The cameo scene benefits greatly from the situational comedy that results.

As it turns out, Cooper's appearance wasn't planned from the start. In an interview with Variety, the filmmakers revealed that they first shot the scene with another actor before hiring Cooper for the role, but they wouldn't disclose who the initial actor was.

In any case, Cooper has always been a "dream casting" choice for the directors.

Whatever future awaits the Dungeons & Dragons movies is yet to be seen, but if the filmmakers continue in the same vein with all the unexpected shenanigans, one thing is certain: fun just wouldn't cease.

Not that we'd want it to.
