Even though it’s Guy Ritchie’s brand new film The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare starring Henry Cavill that’s currently making headlines ahead of its upcoming release in April, it’s not the only film of the proclaimed director that is set to get the attention.

Turns out that Prime Video is also into this picking-up-all-the-speed trend for 2000’s movies — and the streaming has recently given fans one more of such films for a nostalgic rewatch.

Guy Ritchie’s comedy Snatch was released back in 2000 and instantly got into the list of classic movies.

The plot follows an ill-assorted group of characters — that includes a bare-faced boxer, tough bookmakers, a Russian criminal, luckless thieves and even Jewish jewelers — who embark on a hunt for each other in an attempt to be the first one to get a precious 86-carat diamond.

The film blew everyone away not only thanks to the captivating storyline with sharp plot twists, but also due to the star-packed cast — Snatch got Brad Pitt, Jason Statham, Alan Ford, Vinnie Jones, Stephen Graham, Benicio Del Toro, Lennie James and Dennis Farina in the leading roles.

The movie has managed to make quite an impression and even kept it for a long time as 2017 was the year when Guy Ritchie’s story’s television adaptation hit the screens. Starring Luke Pasqualino and Rupert Grint, this time the plot gets its focus on two hustlers who find themselves in a complicated position with a stolen gold bullion in their hands.

Another character that appears in the series, boxer Billy 'F*cking' Ayres, also seems to come as the new version of Brad Pitt’s Mickey O'Neil in the original movie.
