Jeremy Allen White, watch your back.

To say that The Bear was a success would’ve been an understatement. For months, the fans of the intense anxiety-inducing comedy were looking for something to watch while the team behind it is working on season 3, however, no comedy or drama came close to it so far. Or maybe, the fans just weren’t digging deep enough?

Luckily, this April Netflix will have something to make The Bear fandom forget about Carmy and his struggles for at least a few hours. Coming to your screens straight from the U.K., another series exploring what goes on among the staff of Manchester’s fine dining restaurant Point North.

Following the 2021’s movie of the same title which is already available to stream on Prime Video today, Boiling Point is just as intense, dynamic and thrilling as The Bear. 100% of Rotten Tomatoes critics agree: Boiling Point will keep anyone holding on to the edges of their seats.

Boiling Point: Where to Watch?

Originally produced by the BBC, this four-part series is a deep dive into English restaurant culture and the interpersonal relationships that are usually left behind the closed door to customers. After the success of the movie Boiling Point, the idea of a miniseries was a no-brainer.

In four one-hour episodes, viewers will learn and understand the principles of kitchen hierarchy at Point North, a restaurant struggling to survive in today's tough economy despite the chef's best efforts to save her staff. As the conversations become more heated, the cooks and servers make more costly mistakes.

Despite being a limited series, Boiling Point doesn't fail to impress. The show has a perfect 100% critics score on Rotten Tomatoes, followed by a 90% audience score. Though the UK's answer to The Blow-Up Bear takes it up a notch in terms of darker themes, the show is still very bingeable and pays a lot of attention to detail.

The hope that many fans bear is that the exposure that the series gets from Netflix will be enough for BBC to give the green light to the Boiling Point season 2.
