Appropriate Adulting goes away.

The brilliantly chaotic friendship between Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne returns as Platonic drops its Season 2 trailer ahead of its 6th August premiere on Apple TV+. Picking up where their critically-acclaimed first season left off, the comedy sees Will (Rogen) and Sylvia (Byrne) attempting "grown-up" friendship – with predictably disastrous results.

This season's central tension comes from Will's new relationship threatening their carefully rebuilt 25-year bond.

"It would take ages to replace him" Sylvia complains to husband Charlie (Luke Macfarlane), as they embark on painfully awkward couple's dinners.

The trailer promises more of the show's signature physical comedy alongside heartfelt moments examining adult friendships.

Co-creators Nicholas Stoller and Francesca Delbanco expand the world with new guest stars including Aidy Bryant and Kyle Mooney, while maintaining the core dynamic that made Season 1 a hit. Rogen previously told that the positive response convinced them to continue what was originally planned as a limited series.
