Fans are still excited for the Stranger Things star to make an appearance in MCU, even though the rumors are yet to be officially confirmed.

Ever since Stranger Things 4 propelled Sadie Sink even further to popularity, people couldn't help but fancast her in various projects, and MCU is no exception.

However, while people are dreaming of Sink as Jean Grey "when they finally do X-Men", it looks like the studio might be having different options for the young Netflix star. According to the moderators of MarvelStudiosSpoilers subreddit, Sink is currently being considered for the role of Songbird in the upcoming Thunderbolts movie.

Even though this potential casting would bring Sink into MCU much earlier than if she was Jean Grey, fans don't seem to be overly excited, thinking that Songbird is not important enough for the story to be portrayed by a talent as big as Sink.

However, many people beg to differ. After all, Songbird is considered to be one of the "OG" Thunderbolts, and a lot of fans believe that the movie simply cannot happen without her. Melissa Gold (Songbird's real name) boasts a set of vocal powers that allows her to hypnotize, locate and take out enemies by using voice only. Moreover, she is capable of creating solid constructions out of sounds.

Many believe that Sink will portray Songbird in her early years, since the actress is just 20 years old. However, the rumor is still to be officially confirmed, as both the studio and the actress remain mum on the claims.
