Season 48 of Survivor has come to an end. Who won & how much money did they get?
It's truly insane to think that Survivor has been around for 25 years now. Since its 2000 debut, it has become one of the biggest reality TV sensations.
And as we celebrate the show's 25th anniversary in 2025, Season 48 has just crowned its winner. Our reigning Sole Survivor is: Kyle Fraser.
Who Is Kyle Fraser? Everything You Need to Know About ‘Survivor’ Season 48 Winner
Kyle Fraser is a 31 years old attorney from Brooklyn, New York. He brought a different approach to the game. Even before the season aired, Fraser laid out his one-of-a-kind game plan in a Parade interview, saying:
“Actually, my motto throughout this game is going to be "people first." I want to connect with people to then build a foundation to play the game. I think we see too many strategic players who don't have the social foundation to get far in this game.”
Later in the interview, Fraser elaborated on his philosophy a bit more:
“So let me be clear when I say "people first," it's more so you can't play this game without people. You can't just come out here and be like, "I want to make this move." You need people as a foundation.”
How Much Money Did Kyle Fraser Get From Winning ‘Survivor’?
Kyle Fraser walked away with a $1 million check for his gameplay and “people first” rule. Yep, our winner got seven figures for 26 days of physical challenges and social maneuvering.
What Do Fans Think About 'Survivor' Season 48 Winner?
“Many other winners in new era did not have power through early-mid game. They just got power in very late game. Kyle was in power the entire game. He was always the biggest threat to win, but nobody noticed. That’s what makes it [his win] so impressive.” Redditor TalkersCZ said.
“Glad Kyle won. Did well for himself in FTC articulating his game. Get rid of immediate reunion show its always a tough watch,” another fan, TheTripod8837 on Reddit wrote.
“I think Kyle is a very good but not great winner - probably middle of the pack of all winners for me,” Redditor chilltownrenegade shared.
