Invincible Season 3 Finale, Explained & What to Expect From Season 4

What will happen to Conquest, where will Battle Beast go, and what will Angstrom Levi's actions lead to?
Recently, Season 3 of Invincible ended with an epic battle between Mark and the mighty Viltrumite Conquest.
Let's take a look at what happened in the final eighth episode of Season 3 and what might happen in the fourth сhapter of the superhero series.
Invincible, Atom Eve, and Oliver Have an Open Confrontation With Conquest
The final episode of Season 3 is devoted to the battle between Invincible and the Viltrumite Conquest – an incredibly powerful warrior even by the standards of this alien race.
Oliver joins his brother in the battle, and Atom Eve, barely recovered from her serious injuries, rushes to help Invincible. Conquest, who told Mark of his father's death (in fact, Nolan is alive), seriously wounds Oliver, and then nearly kills Eve.
Conquest admits to Mark that he is actually grateful to him for having angered his empire so much, and that the Viltrumites, by sending him to Earth, have given him complete freedom of action for the first time.
Mark attacks Conquest, critically wounding him. Meanwhile, Atom Eve, having survived a critical injury, removes the ability block and directs a powerful energy beam at the enemy. Conquest is then finished off by Invincible.
Cecil Has His Own Dangerous Plans for Conquest
Faced with such a terrible threat, Cecil demands that his scientists accelerate the development of advanced cyborgs made from the bodies of Invincibles from other realities.
Invincible asks Cecil to burn Conquest's remains, but Cecil has other plans. The superheroes gather for the funeral of Rex, who died in a battle with an alternate version of Invincible.
What Will Happen in Invincible Season 4?
In the Season 3 finale, we were shown several scenes that hinted at what might happen in Invincible Season 4.
1. Cecil's Risky Plan Could Have Devastating Consequences

Despite Invincible's demands, Cecil keeps Conquest's remains in a bomb-lined chamber deep underground. He hopes he will recover and provide critical information about the Viltrumites that will help defeat them.
This risky venture could have serious consequences in Season 4. If Conquest manages to escape his prison, it will lead to another showdown with Invincible.
2. Angstrom Levi's Alliance With the Technicians Could Bring Them to Earth
The Technicians replace Angstrom Levi's severed arm with an implant. Now Levi must serve them and help find a new world to become their home.
The villain will probably offer the Technicians a chance to take over Earth, and at the same time try to finally deal with Invincible.
3. The Sequids Army Will Become a Threat to All Humanity
In the sewers, alien parasites called Sequids, who once took over the mind of astronaut Rus Livingston, have enslaved a group of firefighters and continue to expand their army.
They are preparing for a massive and destructive attack that will put humanity at risk of enslavement or extinction.
4. Battle Beast Will Probably Return to Earth to Help Invincible
Somewhere far away, humanoids find Battle Beast frozen in space and bring it aboard a ship. There, Beast comes to his senses and demands new challenges.
There is a chance that he will simply deal with the crew and run away, unless he finds a compelling reason to spare their lives. However, Battle Beast will definitely be looking for new worthy opponents, and may even join Mark and Nolan in the war against the Viltrumites.
