Mayor of Kingstown Season 4 New Cast Members Have Everyone Talking
While we’re waiting for Landman’s next season, Taylor Sheridan is back with an ever bigger star-studded cast for another show.
A master of Western-y stories, Taylor Sheridan has several of his series waiting for a deserved continuation, and for one of them things finally just started moving.
Initially released back in 2021 and recently brought back to the screen with its third season last year, Mayor of Kingstown is set to return with Jeremy Renner in the leading role and some other big names who have just landed new roles in the show.
While there’s still no saying about when fans should expect Mayor of Kingstown’s next instalment to be dropped, Paramount+ seems to be going forward taking things slowly and first officially announcing new, and quite famous, additions to the storyline.
Mayor of Kingstown Adds The Sopranos and The Walking Dead Stars
The show’s returning cast will be joining forces with some new famous names in the upcoming fourth season as, according to Variety, The Sopranos’s Edie Falco, The Walking Dead’s Lennie James and No Hard Feelings’ Laura Benanti are now officially set to star in Mayor of Kingstown alongside Jeremy Renner.
Falco will portray Nina Hobbs, “Anchor Bay’s new prison warden”; James is set to play Frank Moses, described by Paramount+ as “a legendary gangster respected in the city of Detroit, the state of Michigan, and well beyond”. Benanti is said to portray Cindy Stephens, “a new correctional officer recruited in Kingstown.”
Mayor of Kingstown Season 3 Opened Doors for Many New Characters
Following Renner’s Michael "Mike" McLusky as he navigates through the criminal gangster world in Kingstown, the show had things steaming up by the time the third season came to its end.
The previous instalment’s episodes saw many recurring characters’ brutal deaths, whether they were accidental or carefully planned, and now Mayor of Kingstown has a lot of time and space to dive deep into newcomers’ stories which are likely to keep their own dark secrets.
With the cast’s big update, fans can now be reassured that the series will have yet another epic return, though the premiere date is still to be determined by Paramount+.
