Is there a love triangle on the way?

Since the first episode of Severance season 2 was released on AppleTV+ on January 24, all fans now live from Friday to Friday, because that's the day each new episode is released. And since the third episode ended, there’s been a lot of buzz around one particular storyline.

If you are a die-hard fan of the series, you definitely know that nothing happens by accident on this show. If a character says or does even the cringiest things – it will definitely be used in the near future. So if you feel something coming, it usually means you're on to something.

The third episode of Severance Season 2 had fans buzzing with theories, and an unexpected pairing captured their attention. We all witnessed innie Dylan meet his real-life wife in Lumon, just as Mr. Milchik promised.

Fans Think Dylan’s Wife Is Better Off With Innie Dylan

This potential romantic twist has added a new layer of intrigue to the story, especially after moments later we saw hoe outie Dylan and his wife behave together in reality. And even though there was only a glimpse into their lives, we had a feeling something was off between them.

On the other hand, the affection between Innie Dylan and his wife was immediate, even though she was a stranger to him. It was clear from their interactions that they were soulmates, even though it was the first time he had ever seen the woman. Fans felt that the show was going somewhere with this. But it may be more than just a love story.

“That storyline is absolutely heading there. She said "I love you" after the first meeting, it's the continuation of [innie] Dylan's characterization as wanting prizes and wanting to know about his Outie life. And we need one more Lumen ace in the hole, they're this all powerful devious corporation they can't be taken down without a fight. They're going to promise him something big to get him to become a traitor to the cause,” Reddit OldWoodFrame said.

If we know anything about Severance and its love stories, we will be way to naive to expect a happy ending (especially given that we’re practically talking about a love triangle where one part of it serves as two…).

Severance is available to stream on Apple TV+. Each new episode of season 2 will be released on the platform every Friday.
