Fingers crossed it was not their last one, huh?

Warning: the following article contains spoilers for 'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' episode 1

The very first episode of 'She-Hulk', despite only lasting for around half an hour, has given us a quick look at Jennifer Walters' origin story as She-Hulk as well as her courtroom routine. However, the latter was quickly interrupted by an explosive entrance of Titania — who literally blew up a wall in the middle of Jennifer's closing arguments.

However what could have been a pretty satisfying sequence of a fight between two mega-strong female characters has turned out to be a rushed thing. It took Jennifer a few seconds to quickly take Titania down with just a couple of moves — even though she said she never had to use her Hulk-sona outside of Bruce Banner's beach resort in Mexico where she underwent her training.

Besides, the scene never actually highlighted what was Titania's deal. Why would she smash the courtroom? Was she trying to target Jennifer or someone else in there? Judging by how Titania seemingly had no idea who Jennifer was, it seems that She-Hulk was not her target whatsoever. Then... who was?

The show is yet to answer all of these questions. According to fans, it looked more like a writer's failure and less like a cliffhanger to try and squeeze the "battle" scene into the first episode.

The second thing that fans took issue with was how easy the fight turned out to be for Jennifer. Beating one of her main antagonists appeared to not be a big deal at all; all Jennifer had to do was throw a desk at her — and that's it: in the next shot, Titania is lying unconscious and is being apprehended by the police.

Still, there are eight more episodes to come; surely enough, this was not the last appearance by Jameela Jamil 's character in the show. The billion dollar question is whether the creators will manage to deliver her story right.

'She-Hulk: Attorney at Law' is currently streaming on Disney Plus, with new episodes to arrive every Thursday.
