Sheridan still didn’t say anything about the show’s next season, but there are signs.
Having wrapped its first season up back in January, a Paramount+ major Western hit Landman has kept quiet about a possible continuation ever since.
The first instalment’s finale left its viewers on a hook, making the overall wait for a resolution even more torturing as there was no saying about another season whatsoever.
There’s still no official confirmation though, but Landman is now definitely heading towards new episodes; the news isn’t coming from Sheridan, but from someone else reliable in the industry.
Landman Season 2 Sets Filming Date — It’s Sooner Than You Might Think
Apparently, Sheridan is already packed with ideas for the next season and isn’t eager to wait long after the first one’s final episode as, according to the Film & Television Industry Alliance’s website, the production of Landman’s second season is set to start on February 28 in Fort Worth, Texas.

The bombshell news piece doesn’t feature any more details, but it’s safe to say that the show is now likely to be back on small screens way earlier than everyone might have expected.
If things are good about the production schedule and there are no issues on the way, fans will probably see the next episode’s arrival around November/December of this year or January/February of 2026.
Landman Season 2 Exciting Plot Updates Were Teased Weeks Ago
The show’s first season ended on a high note, paving the way for the next instalment’s big revelations.
A shocking and heartbreaking plot twist had a huge impact on Billy Bob Thornton’s Tommy Norris who now will have to deal with a much bigger responsibility at M-Tex oil. Simultaneously, his tensions with Rebecca will probably get to a new level after the latter’s controversial behaviour in the final episode.
Additionally, Landman’s next season will also see Demi Moore’s return with a much bigger role, and not only due to the actress’ phenomenal success in Hollywood thanks to The Substance; the first season’s finale also put her character Cami in a very complicated position, and the upcoming instalment will show whether she in fact made a right decision after all.
